§ 01Scope

What is included

  • Monthly double-entry bookkeeping from your sales invoices, purchase invoices and receipts
  • Bank, receivable and payable reconciliations every month
  • Periodic VAT return (arvonlisäveroilmoitus) prepared and filed in OmaVero
  • Monthly management figures: profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position
  • Statutory financial statements, notes and the list of accounting records
  • Corporate income tax return (form 6B) and the financial statements filing to the Trade Register

Not included

  • We do not perform statutory audits and do not issue audit reports.
  • We do not sign or certify financial statements on behalf of your company.

§ 02Legal framework

The rules this work follows

Finnish Accounting Act

Kirjanpitolaki 1336/1997 and the Accounting Decree govern how a Finnish company keeps its books, how long records are kept, and how financial statements are prepared.

Who approves the figures

The board and the managing director of your company sign the financial statements. We prepare them; responsibility for adopting them stays with your company's own officers.

  • Purpose and legal basis. To prepare and send the proposal you asked for. GDPR Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry. Your details are not used for marketing unless you tick the separate optional box.
  • What is stored. The fields you fill in, the time, the notice version and a salted hash of your IP address (never the address itself), used only to stop automated abuse.
  • Retention. 24 months from your last contact, then deleted. If an engagement follows, records are kept for the period the Finnish Accounting Act requires.
  • Where. Our website server is operated by Namecheap, Inc. in Los Angeles, California, United States — outside the EEA, under Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
  • Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection: write to contact@classicgarageoy.com. You may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).
  • Please do not send ledgers or payroll data here. Those are exchanged after an engagement letter, over a channel agreed with you.
